It's how it has been for years
And shall be for the rest.
Your walk for some miles
And then you rest.
There's dark after day
And pause after play
Those who sit at a desk,
Run in the gym or a park
And ones who toil all day
Lay down before the dark
If there's just work
or even just rest
You'll soon leave
to make way for the rest.
